This Privacy Policy describes how MedRemind (FreePlus), developed by Michael Munoz / Maxine Platform, handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this policy carefully before using the app.
2. Information We Collect
MedRemind collects only the minimum information needed to provide its features:
- First name (optional) — used to personalise in-app messages and reminder notifications.
- Family member e-mail address (optional) — used solely to send a confirmation e-mail when a medication reminder is acknowledged by the user.
- Language preference — used to display the app in your preferred language.
We do not collect location data, device identifiers, health records, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To display personalised reminders within the app.
- To send a single confirmation e-mail to the family member address you provide, via the Resend API, when you acknowledge a reminder. The sender address is noreply@maxineplatform.com.
- To display the app interface in your chosen language.
Your information is never used for profiling, targeted advertising, or any purpose other than those stated above.
4. Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. MedRemind does not operate a backend server or database. Your name, e-mail preferences, and settings remain on your device and are not transmitted to or stored on any server, except for the one-time e-mail delivery described in Section 3 above.
5. Third-Party Services
MedRemind uses the following third-party services:
- Resend API — used to deliver the family confirmation e-mail. Only the recipient e-mail address and a brief confirmation message are transmitted. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Google AdMob (Free version only) — used to display advertisements within the free version of the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. The Plus version does not show ads.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with any third party, except as required to deliver the services described in this policy (Resend for e-mail delivery, AdMob for ads in the free version).
7. Data Retention
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. No personal information is retained on any server after an e-mail has been delivered.
8. Children's Privacy
MedRemind is intended for use by adults and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Your Rights
Since your data is stored locally, you have full control over it at all times. You may delete all app data by clearing the app's storage on your device or by uninstalling the app. If you have questions about data that may have been processed in connection with e-mail delivery, please contact us at the address below.
