1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Maxine Platform, operated by Maxine Platform (Sweden), handles your information across maxineplatform.com and the products listed on this site (including MedRemind, Free and Plus).

2. Information we collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to provide our services:

• First name (optional) — used to personalise in-app messages.
• Family / caregiver e-mail (optional) — used to send a confirmation e-mail when a reminder is acknowledged.
• Language preference — used to localise the interface.

We do not collect location, device identifiers, health records, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.

3. How we use your information

• To display personalised reminders within the app.
• To send a single confirmation e-mail to the caregiver address you provide, via the Resend API, when a reminder is acknowledged. Sender: noreply@maxineplatform.com.
• To display the interface in your chosen language.

Your information is never used for profiling or targeted advertising.

4. Data storage

All data is stored locally on your device. MedRemind does not operate a backend database. Your name, preferences, and settings remain on your device and are not transmitted to any server, except for the one-time e-mail delivery described in Section 3.

5. Third-party services

• Resend API — delivers caregiver confirmation e-mails. Only the recipient address and a brief confirmation message are transmitted. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google AdMob (MedRemind Free only) — displays ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data. See policies.google.com/privacy. MedRemind Plus does not show ads.

6. Website analytics

maxineplatform.com does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking script. We do not set marketing or profiling cookies. Server access logs may be kept for 30 days for operational security and aggregated into non-identifying visitor counts.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only as required to deliver the services described in this policy (Resend, AdMob in the free tier).

8. Data retention

Since data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling. No personal information is retained on any server after an e-mail has been delivered.

9. Children's privacy

Our products are intended for adults and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have it deleted.

10. Your rights (GDPR)

Under EU data-protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Because your data is stored locally, you can exercise most of these rights directly in-app. For questions or requests, contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes are posted here with an updated effective date.
